.We met Brian before we had a clue about buying or selling a house. We walked into an open house one day and met this laid back guy. We liked the house and needed an agent for both the selling of ours and the buying of that one. We knew the owners of the house and they had chose him so we did likewise. Our life changed during the process, we became first time parents, and had to back out. Brian was always upfront with us and explained in great detail all the contract language. We attribute that to his teaching background. We remained a client of Brian and LGAR though a few failed attempts at purchasing a home, (due to owner decisions). We did sell ours, tall order during a down market and it being a manufactured home, and life again through us a curve. We have had the pleasure of working with Brian Donahue and Lake George Area Realty over the past year. We were both looking to buy a home and sell at home at the same time. In ourhouse hunting adventure Brian was always available to show us a property that we thought might fit our criteria. He was always prompt, courteous and eager to contact the seller’s agent with any questions we had. Brian kept us up to date on any new listings via email and that was really helpful. We were recently in the market for a vacation home to rent out and use on a personal level from time to time. It had been nearly 13 years since our last real estate transaction, and we basically forgot everything we knew from the last time.
